A Quiet but Meaningful Book Signing
Today, I held a book signing —
a moment I had imagined with excitement and hope.
Not many people came.
Some who promised didn’t show up.
For a moment, it stung…
I wondered if I mattered enough,
if my story reached the hearts it was meant to reach.
But then I looked again —
and I saw the people who did come:
family and friends, who chose to be there
not because they had to,
but because they cared.
Their presence reminded me that success
is not always measured by crowds —
sometimes it is measured by sincerity.
I felt grateful —
for every smile, every conversation,
every person who believed in my story enough
to stand beside me.
It also taught me this:
Sometimes, the room isn’t full because
the moment is preparing us
for a bigger one.
So I celebrate this day —
quiet, meaningful, and real.
I showed up.
My words showed up.
And the right hearts were there.
